Our starting point is simple: understanding herself gives a girl something to build on.

Growing up comes with questions.

There should be room to explore them.

During the years between childhood and adolescence,

girls are making sense of changing friendships,

bigger feelings, new expectations, and their own growing independence.

Some days, they can explain what is happening. Other days, they are still finding the words.

Unstoppable Me Academy creates experiences where girls can get curious about themselves,

learn alongside one another, and practice ways to navigate everyday situations.

What "unstoppable" means to us

At UMA, being unstoppable leaves room for uncertainty, mistakes, rest, and asking for help.

It means becoming more familiar with yourself: recognizing what you feel,

considering what you need, and finding a next step that makes sense for you.

A girl can be quiet, thoughtful, nervous, excited, or still figuring things out.

There is room for all of that here.

Meet Edna Uribe

My work has long centered on people: how we learn, respond to change, and grow into leadership.

Over more than 20 years in media leadership, including serving as President and General Manager of Univision Chicago and Cleveland, I worked with people navigating new responsibilities, uncertainty, and expectations.

Those experiences deepened my interest in how we understand ourselves and how that understanding shapes our choices. That interest now informs my work with girls through Unstoppable Me Academy, alongside my training and certifications in youth resilience and neuroscience coaching.

As a mother and a coach, I care about creating space for girls to ask questions, recognize themselves in everyday stories, and practice skills they can return to as they grow.

A place to begin, and room to keep growing...

Explore an experience for your daughter, or talk with us about bringing UMA to the girls in your school or community.
